AirBnb Holding $2,950 in balance, won't let me book.

Hi!

I added gift cards to my account totaling $2,950 to book a stay. I'm trying to book a stay but keep getting "Something went wrong! Please contact customer support for assistance".

AirBnB has claimed that I cannot book private stays only hotels, I try to book a hotel and get the same error.

They are now refusing to help me any further:

"Hi Yousef,

Thank you for contacting Airbnb. After reviewing your request and the additional information you may have provided, we’ve decided to uphold our decision to offer you a hotel or private room for this trip."

"We regret any inconvenience that this process may have caused. However, we have issued our final decision for this case and we will disengage from further discussion on this topic."

What can I do now, they have almost $3000 of mine and won't even be bothered to help me. Straight up stealing it 🫤

Why did you add such high value gift cards to your account rather than just paying for the booking @Yousef62 ?

what sort of accommodation do you want to book.

perhaps airbnb think you want to book a whole listing for a party ?
