Hello Airbnb Community,
I've received an unexpected and upsetting email from Airbnb today informing me that my "Mexico City Art Gallery Tour" experience will be removed due to not meeting their standards. I'm truly devastated as I've poured my heart and soul into creating a unique and insightful experience for my guests.
I've been hosting this experience as a hobby for the past ¿6? ¿7 years?
My 4.7 average rating was hurt by a ons single qualification on january 2023. This year I've only hosted ¿3 experiences? two weeks ago and they all came with 5 stars.
Could anyone who has successfully appealed a similar decision please share your insights and advice? I'm particularly interested in:
The email was vague, I think i'ts dry, it's rude , I thought my acount was hacked to be honest.: stating it didn't meet "standards." Has anyone received more detailed feedback on what exactly needs improvement?
What kind of information or evidence did you provide in your appeal form that convinced Airbnb to reconsider?
If the appeal is unsuccessful, are there other platforms where I could continue to offer my art gallery tour? I'm been on VRBO since december without one sinlge reservation.
I'm open to any suggestions or words of encouragement. Thank you in advance for your support.
