I find the Airbnb Search Engine Not User Friendly for Finding a listing by Name but markets like Google. And list those rentals who pay more to be on the first page, and least interested in what the customer wrote for a request. 

Why wont they allow the customer to put in a name (Not the rental invoice number) of a new or past rental? 

A solution is to phone the rental directly to make your reservation.

I think you misunderstand how Airbnb works. Those on the first pages are not hosts who pay to be on the first page. It is hosts who have the highest ratings from guests. Hosts cannot pay to be ranked higher. 

Most guests looking for properties won't know the name of the listings they search for amenities, dates, price, ratings etc.

You can't have contact details for listings before you book to phone hosts directly.
