Airbnb cancelled my Account and reservation both after booking an airbnb

Couple hours after my booking, airbnb sent me an email about account cancelled and another email that your reservation cancelled. I did not cancel either one and did not authorize anything to airbnb to cancel. I contacted host and he has never heard about this type of issue. It shown on his end that reservation cancelled. I called airbnb customer service but they could not figure out why was it cancelled if I have not authorized. I called few times where first agent said to respond in automated email to ask why as they cannot verify my email or phone as account was cancelled. Then I called with my booking number and they were able to see booking, verified all the info but could not say why it was cancelled. They said they have to escalate this issue. This is not a reliable platform to book your expensive vacations. I need my account and reservation reactivated.

It's possible that the payment didn't go through. That's the only thing I can think of in this scenario. 

Payment did go through the bank. It’s already deducted from the account.
