I write a review to the host about my stay. It wasn't 5 stars but it wasn't a 1 star either. It was fair. It then got removed. I asked airbnb why and they said the host sent screenshots saying that I said I was "tight on money" and wanted to get free nights in exchange for a positive review.
I never did this. This host falsified documents to have the review removed from their page. Airbnb keeps siding with the host no matter how much evidence I provide. Airbnb is unsafe and does not care about their customers.

@Pamela1206 given that you and the host have many excellent reviews I wonder what went wrong here. If there was any suggestion of bribery for a good review I guess that could have caused yours to be removed. Failing that who does Airbnb believe? They usually side with the guest if you believe the posts on the community centre.

I did not suggest any form of bribery. But the host created some sort of fake image of a conversation on there personal number claiming I did via text. I dont have the hosts number. I have an android and from speaking with another support member the texts showed two iphones which is not me clearly. The airbnb support rep read the message to me and it's something I never said to anyone but I'd like to at least see it to explain to them how whatever he did is fabricated.
I'm thinking the host had such great reviews because they've pulled this before to get any negative reviews off of their page.
I found there google page and they filled it with fake reviews, even from themselves.
I asked airbnb to show me the evidence but they wont. But if I sent a bribery message, wouldn't I already have it in my history as well? Airbnb is withholding evidence.
Please let me know what you find out because the same thing just happened to me this past weekend! My review was fair and to warn future guests!
Another alternative which may be risky is to leave your review on google. They cant have that removed and they usually have a google page for their location.
We probably had over 10 000 stays. At least 50 different people asked us to pay for the review or threatened to leave a bad review, if we would not refund them. Unfortunately this became a common strategy for people since they know that they will be banned on airbnb if they will text it on app, so most try to communicate this type of things directly to hosts.
What exactly did you encountered to leave a less than 4 or 5 star review?
This was the review I tried to leave:
The place was ok. The design was very charming. Very very old home with poor infrastructure. Bathroom faucet would often need to be adjusted to turn off fully. I wouldn't want to work from home here or stay for an extended period of time again. You can hear every door close very loudly and feel when people walk on the floor across the room. It was soooo hot in my room and I had no way to adjust temp other than turn off radiator. AC was maybe on once during the day but at night, it was another sleepless hot one. I can see this place working for some people but its just not for me. Good location, decent parking, but very troublesome stay. The host offered to refund me and let me check out early then later changed his mind.
Ah I can see why it got removed. It's your last sentence that breaks their review policy @Pamela1206
Really? I have evidence that, even the last sentence did indeed happen. But he literally created a fake text and sent it to them saying I asked for free nights.
