Airbnb not responding to us and we are stuck in a dirty falsly advertised listing

We arrived yesterday to our listing and immediately found it not as advertised - it said there was a private hot tub which was a deciding factor to come and there is not one. Furthermore, many many things in the house are broken including the back door which does not lock and can be cracked up by pushing, and is jammed shut with a little stick - making this place not SAFE. There a few utinsils and the place was generally pretty dirty, including a balcony so dirty with bird poop you can't use it. SO we immediately contacted AIRbnb, it was New Years Eve, and they said they would call us back in an hour but we got one message saying that our host was willing to fix things and then they ghosted us - the host can't fix this! We have since clarified with the host that it is unacceptable and this can't be fixed while we stay here, but airbnb is still ghosting us! We spent hours waiting on New Years Eve to hear back and ruined a lot of our plans, and we stayed in this place last night uncomfortably with the dirtyness and not feeling entirely safe, and this morning we want to leave but do not know where to go and can't go on with our vacation plans!! We have still not heard back from Airbnb. This is really a nightmare. How do we get Airbnb to help us and get a new listing?!

Hello @Siara3

So sorry to read your post Siara and as a host myself can only suggest contacting Airbnb again by reading the link below which gives information for guests on who to contact if they feel they are in danger during their stay:

I'm hoping it's a different call center than the one you contacted before.

Keep us posted
