In most cases, guests are provided with bed linen and towels and if they stay for an extended period of time, they will need clean bed linen.. So: yes, you have to wash it.

Does your listing have a washer/dryer? Since mine does, I do not launder any linens for the guests no matter how long they stay. I used to offer, but 100% of the time, the guests indicated that they were happy to launder the linens themselves.

You can if you want to but your listing says washer and dryer are available.

Guests should take care of their own laundry unless they want to pay for the service.

@Jenny1451  The problem with letting guests wash bedding and towels themselves is that there are often stains that need to be pre-treated, because if they aren't, the stuff with be permanently stained and you'll have to buy new ones. So while you provide a washer and dryer, you might want to deal with that laundry yourself. You could drop off clean sheets and towels once a week and take away the used ones to wash yourself.

I have a 2 week maximum stay in my home share listing, and guests get clean linens once a week, or if they have a 10 day booking, I'll offer halfway through, at day 5.

It seamed like they wanted me to make their beds to after I washed it. Do you make the beds after washing the linnens or just hand it over, folded and cleaned?

@Jenny1451   If the guest agrees to you entering the guest space and touching their belongings so that you can make up the bed, then you can make up the bed.  Otherwise, hand them the clean sheets.

@Jenny1451  I ask them. "I'll give you some clean sheets today- do you want me to remake the bed or would you prefer to do it yourself?"

I have a washer and dryer. But even if I didn't, I would not expect to do the guest's laundry while they are staying there. In the event of a long term stay I provide clean linens available in the closet. It's never been a problem here.

There isn't any reason to do the linens/towels during their stay.  We typically provide enough towels for a guest's stay as well as a couple extra.  We have a washer & dryer and free detergents for them to use if desired.  For an optional fee, they can contract with our cleaner to have the property cleaned and the linens done.  We do not allow the washing of the linens by guests.
