Amenities List

It would be helpful to have "towels" added to the amenities list. Several guests have had to ask before their stay. We have said that towels are provided in the House Manual in the Arrival Guide but it takes some searching for by guests! 

I'd consider it a fairly basic/essential item for most properties.

Towels are included as basics within an Airbnb along with bedding so there is no need to list them as a separate item. @Chris24610 

I've been hosting for ten years and haven't had guests checking to see if towels are included .

Thanks Helen but I've just gone back into my listing and still can't see towels anywhere and it can't be assumed they're provided. The only editing I can see regarding  bedding is to add what material or brand the linen is.  I'm not sure what I'm missing! 

I've only been hosting for 15 months but have had at least 3 sets of guests ask the question. it's not a huge problem - easy enough to answer when asked. Thanks anyway.

The reason guests keep asking if you have towels is because you haven't added "Essentials" to your amenities on the listing. This is a common mistake Hosts make. Airbnb shows your listing doesn't have Essentials (which includes towels). Essentials also include sheets, soap and toilet paper, so it's important for you to correct that on your amenities list:

Go to your Amenities Section on the listing and click the plus sign at the top. Then choose All. You'll see Essentials in the list. Hosts are currently having issues with the amenities section on the desktop. Suggest you do this in the App on your phone.
