Amenities gone wild?

Is there something wrong with the website? I can't get certain amenities to toggle off, so it looks like I'm offering all sorts of things that I'm not, like ski in/ski out, mosquito netting, a pool, etc etc.

UPDATE: in a strange and still unexplained incident, the amenities toggles were not "holding" after I X'd out all the things we did not have. It's OK now, but I have no idea what went wrong or why. Now I realize I need to check this section often to make sure oddball amenities do not suddenly reappear.

And now this email from Airbnb, May 7: On April 21, 2022, we discovered a bug in our system that has affected your listing: Railroad Express Guest Suite. Because of this bug, all amenities were toggled on—and what was displayed for guests might have been inaccurate. As of May 2, 2022, this bug has been fixed and your listing should be back to its original state on April 21. Please visit your listings dashboard to make sure your amenities are accurate and up to date.

@Hal3292 I actually find it quite positive that Airbnb have admitted their error and asked you to correct/check the listing.

It would be interesting to know how many others were affected by the bug and also what Airbnb will do if a guest expects an amenity that was never there.

@Mike-And-Jane0  Last year, after the "roll-out" of 200 new features, one of my places appeared to have air-conditioning, which it does not.  Someone made a reservation during that moment in time and when he arrived, asked where the A/C was.  He then marked me 4 for accuracy because it wasn't there.  When I explained what had happened, he offered to raise a protest with Airbnb, but I told him not to bother because the overall score was a 5 and he would just spend too much time trying to get satisfaction that would never come.

Which is why, @Hal3292, I would take @M199's advice and contact any guests who reserved during the glitch period!

Just a thought, if you have guests impacted, you may want to copy the Airbnb admission to them and reconfirm that they are still ok with the bookings.

Just my opinion.

Also, document everything, in  case CS comes at you backside.
