Appeal

Hi I have a host asking us to pay £900 for a white small stain on their terrace. The argument:1. its plastic (can’t be repainted). 2. Basically they will replace the whole thing. 
I don’t think it’s reasonable. People don’t replace their terraces for red sake of one small stain. 
Can I appeal? What is the procedure?

Airbnb just sent me an invoice with no explanation how to appeal.

@Ina32378 Just reply to them saying you do not consider this fair and you will not be paying. Do you have a photo of the damage?

I will. And yes there is a photo of the stain. 
But I didn’t think taking a photo of an official “wild sea, do not swim sign”. 
place was listed as having a beach access.

@Ina32378 Seriously do not pay this ..what on earth is their terrace , or any terrace made of if it cannot be cleaned. This is inaproppriate . Are you sure that Airbnb sent the invoice as I find it difficult to believe. Simply reject it as unreasonable.. H
