A week ago we had a couple be our guests in our RV that we have on Airbnb. Our guests have always gave us sparkling reviews! This couple were hosted for one night. They did a lot of damage and we are in the midst of applying for reimbursements for such. I gave them a review and added a note to them of how terribly disappointed we were. We have assumed it will cost $1000+ to repair all plus a 3 hour drive to the dealer for that. So our guest read my comments and gave us a review that almost floored me! The whole review was total fabrication and on some parts there is information on my profile regarding rules or regulations. I’m assuming they did this bc of the amount we are asking for and my honest review. I would not recommend them to anyone! I don’t know how to go forward. I have asked Airbnb to remove their review and it is being looked into now. Has anyone here been through this as a host? I’m terribly upset. To top it off, they are hosts as well ! Any advice would be appreciated! They also brought another person that wasn’t included in the reservation and have refused to pay for the extra guest.
