Becoming a Co-Host

I am currently a Chef in a restaurant in Milan, but I would like to begin a journey in the real-estate world, because it has always fascinated me. I would like to start learning from people who are already host, by helping them.

The majority of hosts will obviously look for cohosts who have extensive experience themselves as hosts who understand STR regulations, how to manage problem guests and market their STR business effectively.

you could start by renting out a room in your home to learn the ropes ,

if you look on the Airbnb Help website you can find a section on how cohosting works on Airbnb @Nicolo40

@Nicolo40 That’s a wonderful mindset to have — combining your hospitality background with an interest in real estate is a great start! As a Chef, you already understand the importance of service, presentation, and guest satisfaction — all of which are valuable in hosting. I agree with @Helen3; starting small by renting out a room or shadowing an experienced host can be a great way to learn. The Airbnb Help Center has excellent resources on co-hosting, and the community here is always ready to share advice and experiences. Wishing you all the best as you begin this exciting journey!
