@Innocenza-Lucy0 If you have a hotel supplier in your area, that's my go-to. They last a really long time and they're made to be treated harshly. Guests seem to love them: they feel great, very crisp and fresh. I've been hosting for over 3 years and I've only lost a couple in that time. My supplier sells small quantites for bed and breakfasts etc. Cost is also lower than a sheet set from a store. I got 6 flat and 6 fitted sheets and 12 pillow cases for about $100 Canadian.
That's great advise, thanks Alexandra. I'll suss it out as we are a little restricted with choice up here in Cairns 🙂
@Innocenza-Lucy0 I've never been a fan of white sheets for Airbnbs. People who are accustomed to hotels (or hospitals) often think of them as seeming cleaner, but that's largely because hotels use heavy-duty industrial laundries.
If you're using a consumer-grade washing machine, non-white linens (linens of color?) may suit your rotation better while also opening up more design possibilities. The brand and quality of the sheets doesn't make a difference when it comes to stains, but where you do really see the difference is in longevity - how many washes those sheets can take before the fabric starts to wear down and tear more easily. Removing bleach from the equation helps too.
Thanks Andrew, I'll consider your input and see which way I'll go 🙂
