Been cheated by a guest

22 September i recieve a 10 days request  from 29 September to 10 October for two people, i accept but she cancelled minutes after, no problem.

Two days later i recieve another request, this time only for one person, this person is from china too so ask "are you the same person who booked for 2 people and then canceled the booking?", he replied hahhah no i think it's not me.

To be honest i was suspicious but he checks in by himself, so i think maybe they are not related.

Days later when i come back home to clean the bathroom and feed the cats i hear a female voice in the room and find long hair in the bathroom, when i rent i sleep in my mothers house, it's just in front of my house so i see them from the balcony, he brought his girlfriend in without paying, they thought why book for two people if the other person can just sneak in.....

I didn't confront them live because i want to avoid an aggressive reaction but i sent him a money request, he refused, he basically laughed it off saying what proof you have, he also said "how do you know i have a girlfriend? Do you have a camera in the room? This is a crime! What are you gonna say to the police that you spied me?"

Lol basically he turned into a victim, he clearly doesn't care, i don't, maybe he's going back to cina forever but if not i want my money back. They have some reviews  and he speaks some italian, so i don't he's going back to cina forever

I'm waiting for a response from airbnb, there's clearly no way i can lie as host, the room and my apartment has no camera but the building has a security camera, he can't lie (but he did because he didn't notice the camera) and i can't lie

After i told him the building has a camera he went silent mode...

Even his response are proof he is lying, he's like "what proof do you have?"

He's all argumentative, if my accusation was false he would be shocked and complaining... He's just using the you don't have objective proof card, but didn't notice the building has a camera

What do you think i should do?

Sorry to hear about this, @Michael1107 .  I'll pass this information over to Airbnb Support and let them know you're still waiting for a response.

If I hear anything back then I'll let you know.

If your building has a camera, you should mention this on your listing (if you haven't done so already). This will help to avoid situations where guests claim there was an 'undisclosed' camera (one of of the most common tactics for guests trying to scam free stays/refunds) and also possibly deter those who think they can sneak in extra guests undetected.

Personally I would ask Airbnb to cancel the booking penalty free if you have proof from the camera that he has another guest staying and refuses to pay for them. I would also leave an honest review to warn future hosts. @Michael1107
