Booking cancelled

So booked a week in May to Spain through Airbnb (first & possibly last time) and paid deposit through CC. A week later gets an email that booking is cancelled (no reason as to why) and deposit will be refunded. Although refund processed immediately by Airbnb it will take 15 days to reach me - this seems ridiculous and wondering if I need to contact my CC provider to see if this is right. Or are Airbnb hanging on to my cash for as long as possible?
