Your listing says:

"Entire rental unit in Sarangpura, India"

That is were the accommodation is located.

Nearby city seems to be Jaipur.

If guests search for "Jaipur", listings in surrounding area are also included in the results.

Maybe consider to change the title (now: "New personal Romantic apartment for everyone")

to (for example)  "Romantic apartment near Jaipur" for better search result in Google etc..

That is a very good observation, Prashant. You've spotted a critical issue that definitely affects how often people try to book your listing.

When a guest searches, Airbnb usually only shows a general area (the "locality address") on the map to protect your privacy. You are correct that only seeing the locality address can lead to fewer bookings because it creates uncertainty for guests:

  • Distance Anxiety: Guests don't know exactly how far you are from the places they want to visit (like the main city centre, airport, or key landmarks). Uncertainty causes them to skip your listing.

Actionable Fixes for Low Bookings

The quickest way to fix this is to manually put the location information directly into the places guests read first:

  1. Change Your Listing Title: Since the map hides your city name, you must put it in the title.

    • Try: "City Name Apartment near Landmark with Free Parking"

  2. Use the Description to Pinpoint Your Location: Use the first few lines of your description to be specific about the distance to popular spots.

    • Example: "Located just 5 minutes walk from the main train station and 15 minutes by tram to the City Centre, offering easy access."

By adding the City name and key landmark into your title, you are directly giving guests the certainty they need, which should boost your booking rate.

Have you tried using any specific landmarks or attractions in your listing title yet? @Prashant130

Hi @Prashant130

Just to add to this in @Wendy-May0 's reply:

When a guest searches, Airbnb usually only shows a general area (the "locality address") on the map to protect your privacy.

You can choose between the general setting or the precise location. Go to the Listings tab, scroll to Location and select Location sharing.

Selecting "precise location" won't, however, cause the city name to appear in the title. It merely shows the exact location to guests when they search on the map.

Recently another host in the Community Center reported that she managed to add the correct city name to the location title of her listing when she contacted Support. If your listing is located in Jaipur and you want Jaipur in the auto-generated location title, it may be worth contacting Support to see if they can help @Prashant130
