Bookings have dried up since October and now there are none.

We're a SuperHost and have done well since we first put the property up a year ago.  But in October, things slowed down dramatically and now they've stopped altogether.  I changed photos, the headline and pricing and still nothing.  I'm wondering what else could be going on here?

Hi @W-M-4

I just want to check that you know guests can only book until the end of February - the rest of the calendar is blocked? This causes two problems (1) only searches for the few remaining nights in January and February will find you and (2) it may affect your overall search rank if you make very few nights available.

Hi Shelley-

I've experienced the same thing.  We were running at 90%, then dropped off the table in October.  I've had only one booking since Jan 1 this year.  I had a long talk with a rep and we made some changes and he boosted me back up in the search pages.  I've added more pictures, re-cast the description and changed the Title phrase.  I'm writing checks and don't like it.  I've read several different opinions about dealing with the algorithm, but nothing coherent.  I like doing this, just don't like this.  I've been a super host for about 10 months, guests love it and I've only had two ratings below 5 from people who were very hard to please.  So, what do I need to do?  Like you, seeking success and want to continue, but to also stop writing checks for the property.
