Hi - we are new to hosting and have been delighted up until this point, received bookings several times a week, however, since we’ve been awarded super host, bookings have stopped, I have bookings at weekends throughout November, but that’s it ! Is this normal at this time of year?
@Tracey605 I can't see what sort/price of listing you have but yes November will be quieter than previous months. Weeknd bookings sound good but typically weekday bookings may need to be priced for workers depending where you are.
I’ve switched on smart pricing - but another change I’ve put a minimum stay of 2 nights, maybe I need to remove that? I think I’ve put the lowest price £80
@Tracey605 at a price of £80and assuming no cleaning fee guests will pay £96. I doubt this is competitive with local hotels but its really hard to say as you don't have a host profile so we can't see the listing and also we don't know the local market.
Also with heating costs over the summer you need to watch out that you are still making money at lower prices.
