Cancelation

I am not sure if I can cancel a guest and they pay no Penalty? We are still under lockdown and my guests for May where able to cancel but I reached out to my guest for end of June( only coming for 4 days) to see if he would like to change his dates or cancel and he said he has to pay penalty if he cancels! I want to stop all bookings till Middle of July to be safe but not sure what I should do, any suggestions?

@Denise249 if you want to  cancel penalty free beyond May 31st, you would need to wait and see if airbnb extends beyond this date. It is in any case safer to ask guests to cancel from their end. 

If June/July guests cancel now, they will  be refunded according to your cancellation policy less airbnb fees. If you have a strict policy, you can still offer a full refund if you wish.
