Changing the spaces available on an experience, if some places are already booked

I’ve been hosting experiences on airbnb for a while, but now they have updated everything I don’t seem to be able to change the number of places available for my experience if anyone has booked it through Airbnb? 
I book through my own website too, and our max is six people, so potentially get two through airbnb, then two through my website- so then I need to alter the airbnb to ensure I’m not overbooked. Didn’t used to be an issue- but they do t seem to be able to do it anymore. Any help?

I wanted to chime in and let you know that after the recent release, once an instance is booked on Airbnb, the group size cannot be changed. Don't hesitate to let me know if you need more help on this!
