Check in instructions

Hi! Airbnb told me that one way to get check in instructions to guests was to go to "Listing Details" then "Guest Resources." Next type in  the check in instructions and they will automatically email those to the guests 3 days prior to arrival. Can anyone tell me if this is accurate?

Airbnb did send a reminder email to the guest of the check in date with the “ checks in instruction”  prior guest arriver.

In my personal experience, I did filled in the detail of the check in procedures and photos, step by step  in the “ check in Introduction”, assume the guest easily can find the place with the smooth check in. Nevertheless, most of my guest do not read the reminder email.  

Therefore , I communicate again with my guest in Airbnb message to remind them the check in times, procedures and other detail.

I also ask them “ Did you receive the Airbnb email of the “ Check In Introduction ?” and to confirm that all is in order! 
Airbnb do remind the guest prior arrive of check in date and check in instructions, but host is necessary to send a Airbnb message for check in procedures and confirm all is in order

@Kimberly647  Yes, but I always send them myself.  As @Dale711 said they don't read everything from Airbnb, but when a message comes from the host of the place they've booked, they're more motivated to read it.  Not that they answer very often...
