Hi Guys
I added a co-host. The T&Cs said that a co-host doesn't have access to our pay out or tax details. However, as soon as the co-host started doing things for us, they kept getting the message that Air BnB had no bank details for pay-outs.
I looked at our pay-out section and our details are definitely there.
The co-host has had to enter our bank details from THEIR end.
The problem here of course is that the co-host account could be compromised and the payments for OUR properties could be diverted elsewhere.
I cannot help but think we have missed something here. It doesn't seem to make any sense that the co-host has control over where payments go.
Advice appreciated.
@Manksco0 Is all the rental money coming to you or have you specified that the cohost should get x%?
@Manksco0 I wonder if Airbnb just wants the cohost set up so they can be paid - Who knows!!!
I will have to message Air BnB. It makes no sense to me.
Hi @Manksco0 I am almost on the same situation right now, and I was wondering if you were able to figure it out somehow? I would greatly appreciate to hear your insights. That would be really helpful
Thanks in advance
@Imane112 When you set up your listing there is an option to set up your cohost by using the function on the listing to invite them to be your cohost . Then add in the percentage you have agreed to pay them . Airbnb will then pay them directly .
