Hi all,
I've been part of the airbnb community as a host for the past 9 months and so far most of our guests have been great with the exception of one last couple.
They book booked their vacation about 6 weeks in advance, and upon booking I send all my guest the "House Rules" that they have to agree to, which includes check-out time.
I have outdoor cameras, and I always check them on guest's departure days to make sure guest don't stay late and my cleaning crew arrives while they are still in the cabin. These guests stayed over 1hrs past their check-out time and they never reached out to me asking for additional time or answer my texts when I was advising them that my cleaning crew was on their way. I also had guests arriving that afternoon and didn't need any delays.
Later I receive some pictures and a message from my cleaning crew, letting me know that these guests that stayed late scratched really bad the surface of our dining table. I have one of those 3 in 1 table sets that have a dining table, ping-pong and pool table which are expensive to replace and hard to repair.
Any recommendations on how I should handle these guests? I have yet to persue anything or write a review.
Thanks in advance.
Yuli
