Declining requests

Hello

I have had a few parties request to book, but they inform me that they are more then my maximum allowed guests of 2 people. I therefore decline them. Does this hurt my standings when peoples search for listing and go Against my “basic requirement” statistics? 
What do you do when you get inappropriate requests?

" I'm sorry, but you must have missed seeing that the maximum guest count for my listing is 2 guests. I cannot accommodate more than 2, my insurance does not allow that. You should withdraw this request ASAP so you will be free to look for a listing that meets your needs."

If you can get them to withdraw the request before the 24 hour window runs out, you won't have to decline.
