Disaster of a stay in Vegas for

I am writing to you both to see if you will help me please. I had weightlifting competition in Vegas this weekend. I booked a stay with a host in Vegas for Sept 21st - 24th 
 
I messaged him informing that I had a competition. I didn’t want to stay in a hotel because I like to be able to cook and control my food and stress and it’s hard in a hotel. 
 
At 8pm on 21st I landed I had messaged the host earlier advising when I was coming in but no response, I got there and the lock box didn’t work, he had two lock boxes. He never advised which one to use in the instructions but I tired both and the code never worked. I tried to contact him and ring the doorbell and nothing. I was out there for 30mins or so and I was panicking.
 
I contacted Airbnb and they told me to go to a hotel and try come back tomorrow, I couldn’t really do that because of m weightlifting competition and I couldn’t just check in and out between, so they cancelled the reservation which I was happy about and I contacted another host and they told me they had a place available. I went there and there was a family inside, the wife started screaming at me cuz I entered the place.., it was over 9pm at this point after getting a Uber there and I was again not able to stay. I contacted the host of this stay and he said oh that’s a mistake let me check and then he said I went to wrong apartment, but that’s where he told me to go and the code he had given me worked. I did not feel safe after this and I think the family in there also were upset how some random person was walking in. I contacted the hotel where my competition I was and I booked two stays. I had to book one night and then rest of my stay with them . I paid $1047.67 for 3 nights it was terrible, but I had no choice because I was paying last minute and it’s Vegas it wasn’t a cheap place.
 
I’m writing to you because I want more than 30% back. This whole weekend was ruined for me. I wasn’t rested enough for my competition, I didn’t do well and I was completely stressed out not have a place to stay Friday night and it happened with 2 hosts in a row. 
 
Please let me I want to be refunded more for what I went though. Airbnb cost me so much money this weekend I don’t think it’s fair oh my fault what so ever here

I am so sorry to hear about your experience and how it affected your competition, making you feel stressed. Since you posted a while ago, did you hear back from the Support team about your request or get in touch with them regarding this again?

Yes but it wasn’t good enough. They gave me $200 credit but because these issues happened to me I had to pay $1100 for a hotel for 3 days because I had booked last minute. Airbnb’s mistake cost me a lot of money and stress that weekend and impacted my competition
