Reviews are one of the most discussed topics in the community because of their impact and how important they are for both guests and hosts.

 

That’s why I’d like to ask you: Do you leave a review for every single one of your guests? If so, how long after check-out do you usually write it?

I always leave a review, good or bad.  As soon as I hear what condition they left the place in, I leave my review.

@Ruth1463 This makes so much sense so other hosts can learn from your experience. Have you been doing this since the beginning?

Thank you for honest reviews Ruth. As a host I benefit from honest reviews and it helps me to decide on weather to accept or decline the booking.

@Paula, I’d say that in around 80% of the cases, guests leave reviews 🤗

We do this every time.  It is a critical part of the post-checkout process and provides useful information to the guests and future hosts.  We usually complete this with 24 hours after the guests have departed.
