Duvet - down or synthetic?
Hi all, planning to be a host on Airbnb and wondered which type of Duvet is best? I am in Scotland so it will never be tropical !
I have seen lots of information on bedding but nothing on the actual type of duvet.
Thank you for any replies and advice.

Hi @Fairisle0
Welcome to the community 😊
Aside from looking nice, duvet cover protects your comforter and helps keep you warm and comfortable through the night.
Best Overall:
Brooklinen Classic Duvet Cover at Brooklinen- reasonably priced, considering its hotel-quality appeal.
Best Budget:
Quince Organic Luxe Waffle Duvet Cover at Onequince.com- Handmade in India of 100-percent organic cottonAnd,
Ralph Lauren cover has a clean-cut, sophisticated vibe. Love it.
Happy Hosting ✌️

@Fairisle0 And now to try to answer your question: We have gone for non-allergenic 13.5 tog duvets. Better quality certainly exists but a) They would be feather/down and hence allergies are a concern and b) Our apartments are well heated so a 15 tog is not needed.
