Events Bottlerock, Napa

Hi NorCal hosts, 

we just started an Airbnb in Vallejo last July and would appreciate some insights from experienced hosts in the area: 

1. Do you require a 3-day/5-day/7-day minimum for the Bottlerock event? 

2. What about the Sonoma Raceway classic car show event in June? 

Any other big events I should be aware of?

Hey @Vina358, 

Congrats on almost a year of hosting on Airbnb! Those events sound quite interesting, do they usually bring quite a crowd to the area then? 

In terms of experiences from local Hosts on this, since the Community Center is a global space, it might be worth checking if there is a local Host Club near you to get more local first-hand experiences. 🙂

Hi Emilie,

Thanks! This weekend, July 1st, is our one year anniversary 🙂 It has been a successful year. Bottlerock is a huge music concert about 30 mins away from our house, and it's a huge demand time for our place. I did check out the Local Host Club and joined a couple of them, thanks for the recommendation. 

Question: I have noticed a massive drop in reservations in the last month (zero, to be exact). I have zero reservations coming up as a result of the changes made by Airbnb in the last month. 

Any suggestions?

@Vina358 Awww congrats on your 1 year anniversary, I'm glad you had such a good one! Here's to many more successful years or hosting and many more festival guests. 🥂

I'll pass on your comments about the lack of bookings on your listing since the recent changes on my end. In the meantime if you'd like more suggestions it might be worth starting a new thread to see if other Hosts have any to share with you? 🙂
