Experience and Reviews
Hi All
I have recently return from becoming a host, as i was a hosting for someone but with my account.
Sadly i had to stop hosting because we could not see eye to eye, As I was learning from the next person.
It left negative reviews on my page bases on the blame game.
I am excited to say after a 6 month break and having an idea of what I want and how i want to host my guest i am receiving good reviews. but every time someone books they still see the old negative reviews.
How do i fix that?

Hi @Hlapi0
Sadly, because you decided to create the listings on your own account, the reviews go to you and your account. If you had setup the listing on their account, all the reviews would go to the owner of the account that the listing is setup on. I actually insist for the people I co-host for that the listing is setup on their account and it really has benefitted them in the end as all of them are now Superhosts (the ones that met the number of stay requirement). The reason I do this is because often I do not have full control of the listing and quality if they are involved which could have implications on the reviews the listing receives.
I hope this helps.

Welcome back @Hlapi0!
I'm sorry to hear you've ran into some challenges in the past with another host. I wanted to jump in here to tag @Dave-and-Deb0 for you, so they will receive a notification of your message. 🙂
Quick tip: To tag someone, tap "@" and select the host's username from the dropdown menu
