Hello,
I'm wondering if there's a way to add an extra guest to the booking but only for 4 days.
I'll be staying over the course of 15 days and when i try to add an extra guest the price doubles entirely.
Is there an option to only add an extra guest for 4 days without doubling the price because the system thinks the extra guest will be joining me the whole duration.

It would be easiest to message the host before you book. Explain the situation first, so that when you request the trip, the host can send you a "Special Offer" that is calculated according to the correct number of guests for the appropriate nights.
{Another way to do it would be to make two separate bookings in a row (one for 2 guests and one for 1 guest), but if the listing has a cleaning fee, this will then be charged between the two bookings. Also, some listings block a day after check-out, so you may not necessarily be able to book this way.}

@Brandon1069. Contact the host via messages and ask. You should also consider whether this guest is sharing the same bedding or requires an extra bed/room. Depending on hosts pricing structure even one night may require extra linen costs, not to mention utilities. Suggest you try and negotiate a special offer.
