False allegations in an attempt to get refund

Does anyone know if comments from a proposed customer who checked in and spent half a day will be or remain on my comment section under a strict cancellation policy. The customer wanted to leave using the excuse she was quote uncomfortable. That being said she continued to make false allegations and intent to recoup her payment LDS salt. Does anyone have the answer to this question

@Claudia2294 Yes this guest will be able to leave you a review. Refunds are a hot topic to hosts...myself I wouldn’t squabble about it, I would be more than happy to refund the guest and send them on their way. After all if that is your guest’s big hang up, once the refund is out of the way maybe she won’t leave a dreadful review, but I wouldn’t bet money on it.

My only issue is she spent nearly three-quarters of a night here and I had other people who wanted the place and I have a strict cancellation policy. Is she hadn't been so rude and made egregious false allegations I would have fully refunded our money however I chose not to at airbnb's insistence as they claimed they would remove the post since I have a strict cancellation policy I hope that is the case

@Claudia2294 To answer your question, yes her review will stand. Your best bet now is to carefully consider your response to her review. It will appear under hers on your listing, and be visible to future guests, so consider that when you respond. Counter her claims in an unemotional manner, be brief, and factual. Resist the temptation to bash her. Leave her an honest review, to inform other hosts what to expect, and apply the same framework. Future guests impressions of you are all that matter now. Familiarize yourself with Airbnb policy on reviews if you need to, and if she writes anything that goes against the terms, you can ask to have it removed.
