The air bnb platform is encouraging this type behavior from their guests byrewarding them for fraudulent comments as they refund money to them/ paying them for the slightest vague complaint. The same things come out of each guests mouth! It’s filthy, It has and odd odor, it isnt as presented on the app/ when indeed it is! as presented and that is easily proven. When they publish these untruths and you are proving to air bnb that they are untruths- this indeed is slander and illegal. Its become an unfriendly and mean scary jungle- Ive had the same thing twice- one was a lady who complained it was filthy after staying there 2.5 weeks!! And honestly once they start with that there is nothing to stop the bad review they are going to give you. This has become well known on the platform and I dont see it improving anytime soon. Im leaving air bnb because of it after being a superhost for 6 years. im on the look out for a class action suit against them as I will gladly join in based on the publishing of untrue comments about me and damaging my professional reputation.
