A guest recently booked last minute at 9pm but the booking had to be canceled as the current guest couldn’t check out due to a health issue/emergency with her daughter. I canceled the reservation via air bnb within 20 minutes of the booking. The guest subsequently left a 1* negative review claiming my home was filthy and I refused to give them a refund or help. The refund was immediately authorised and the guest didn’t communicate with me in any way or ask for help or respond to any of my messages. I have asked air bnb to remove this fraudulent review but they have declined the request twice. Any ideas how I can achieve a fair result ? This is horrible for my page and completely dishonest.
I'm very sorry about the situation. Try writing to Airbnb again, but unfortunately, my experience is that they usually don't remove it. The only solution left is to collect as many 5-star reviews as possible.
