First time host question

Hi. We have stayed at countless properties and this is our first time hosting. Turns out that our first reservation request [20 days] is from a first time customer. It makes me a little leary because I've heard only rent to people with ratings. Thoughs? Advise?

Wellll...I usually don't recommend new Hosts accept long bookings; especially with no reviews. Many times unscrupulous guests look for new listings as they know the Host is not experienced and take advantage.

Remember, you are trying to get as many bookings as possible in a short time (with 5-star reviews). I think this is a bit too much of an unknown while you are still trying to navigate as a new Host. I would decline; but of course that is up to you. I'm sure other bookings will come your way that are much less risk.
