Get rid of airbnb full-screen popup every time I view app

I'll start by saying I am not an Airbnb host, I have never been a host, I do not own any property.

I live in Airbnbs full-time (60+) and am on the app multiple times a day looking for my next rental or communicating with a host. Every time I open the app, I get a full-screen popup within the app saying "Airbnb It...you could earn $1,300" (screenshot below), and I have to click the X button to close before I can do anything in the app.

I think I accidentally clicked something sometime and now Airbnb thinks I want to be a host, which I do not.

Airbnb chat support told me there was no way to remove it and just to click the X to close every time. I know it probably sounds small but this popup is very annoying and I was wondering if anyone knows how I could get rid of it. Thanks!

Android app on Samsung Galaxy S23. Android version 14. Airbnb app version 24.03 (28002504).

You are definitely not the only one... Maybe they changed something in their app and everyone is getting it?

I actually completed the whole hosting process to create a fictional place, then deactivated to see if it would clear. But it did not.

Same problem. On both Android S21 and RealMe C33. This is a programming problem not a device issue. Its so annoying!

As mentioned before could you share a screen recording showing the pop-up when you open the app? Please provide this through a shareable Google Drive link.

Without question - this is likely the WORST "Bug" AirBnb has ever created and not fixed!
I can't stand it - so annoying....let us configure our OWN LANDING page view please.

Hello @June286, I am sorry about this. Could you please follow these troubleshooting steps? If the pop-up persists, could you kindly share a screen recording via a shareable Google Drive link?

1. Log out from your account on all affected devices and browsers.
2. Close all browser windows and tabs.
3. Open just one new window on each device/browser.
4. Clear your cache, cookies, and browser history.
5. If you're using our app, please delete and reinstall it.
6. Log back in using your account email.
