Hi. I'm from India and trying to book an accomodation in a place in Europe. Once I click on reserve, it's asking for PAN details. Everytime I give it, I get an error - PAN Validation Failed and unable to enter any further details. I tried multiple times and my husband also tried from his account. Nothing is working.
I'm unable to make any booking from Airbnb now. Anyone faced this issue and if so, how was it resolved ? Please help
Hi Aishwarya, I am facing a similar issue. Please let me know how you resolved it
It didn't allow me. Airbnb is clueless about this and conveniently asked to check with Razorpay.
I have a friend joining me from Germany. She booked for all of us now. From India, it's impossible to book unless this issue is resolved.
Hi @Aiswarya1 and @Rajesh141,
I'm sorry to hear you were both experiencing some issues booking this weekend! Have you managed to resolved since then, or do you need more help?
If it is still happening, it would be great if you could tell us a bit more about what you have tried (using different devices, app or browser, delete cookies, etc). I would also recommend you reach out to customer support on this page www.airbnb.com/help/contact-us/ , and they will be best placed to look into it further for you.
Let us know how you're getting on please! 🙂
Thanks,
Emilie

Even I'm trying to book a rental in Paris from India and Razor Pay's PAN Validation is getting failed. Tried multiple times but with failure. Did you bypass this step?
It won't work until Airbnb works on it. They don't even understand the problem even after explaining multiple times. All they say is try after sometime or clear your cache.
If you have friends joining your trip from outside India, ask them to book.
Thanks. Yes, they are unable to understand it.
Yes, its a worst customer experience
Luckily another traveller's (India) PAN card got validated. We don't know the algorithm behind it though
I am facing the exact same problem. Can someone please resolve this ???!!!
