Getting bookings

We have a new lake house available for renting. We opened in October of 2023. We have it listed on Airbnb as well as Vrbo. Our Vrbo bookings have been going well, but we have gotten almost nothing through Airbnb. 
Any ideas or suggestions on how to get renters through Airbnb?

@Stacy399 To get high up in the Airbnb search results you need bookings. To get bookings you need to be high up in the search results. That in a nutshell is the issue you face. If VRBO bookings are good then just stick with them as I suspect they work a similar way. We have concentrated on Airbnb and never had success with VRBO - I suspect for similar reasons.
