Getting paid for extra guests
What is the best way to getting paid out by Airbnb claims for extra guests? I recently had somebody have 7 extra guests stay the night and has not responses to any of my messages asking for them to take responsibility for the extra charges. Whats the best way to enforce these extra charges?

Hi @Gabriel4132
It sounds like you have already reached out to the guest and they are ignoring you. Have you submitted a claim here: https://airbnb.com/resolutions?
It is best if you have proof of the extra guests, especially if you have an extra guest fee setup in your listing details. If the guest ignores this or declines the request, then you can go back to the Resolution Center where you made the claim and there should be a button to Involve Airbnb. If it gets to this, click on that and then an Airbnb Case Manager will be assigned and will usually investigate.
Good luck!

They dont pay out unless there is “damage”, they dont consider the house rules or the extra guest policy

Thank you for your response @Andres1022,
I have been successful but as I indicated, I usually would have video proof of the number of guests.

Yes already did that 3 days ago, I know how to submit a claim. My question is what type of claim did you submit to get paid out for extra guests with just video proof of the extra guests and no damage?

Yes @Gabriel4132, either if the guest declines, you can access sooner or if not after 72 hours then you can involve Airbnb.
