Gift Card Concerns

I was recently given a $100 BnB gift card to book a place to stay for my younger cousin’s graduation.

However, I have been locked out of my account because AirBnB couldn’t verify my account I’m sure why .

I’ve used AirBnB before to book a trip but, I was never the person to pay for it. So I’m a little confused .

Since I am now unable to use the account or re-redeem the gift card, I would like to kindly ask if there is a way to receive a refund or transfer of the balance, as I am unable to make use of the funds.

That definitely sounds frustrating, especially with a special occasion like your cousin’s graduation coming up. Since your account is locked, the best course of action would be to contact Airbnb support directly through their Help Center. Explain the situation clearly—mention the gift card, the account issue, and that you’re unable to use the funds.

Unfortunately, gift card balances are usually tied to the first account where they’re redeemed, but Airbnb support might be able to help you recover access or offer an alternative.
