Guest Damage to my Property

I have made seven phone calls and still have not heard from the specialist team and have no way to contact them. This is no way to run a business. I pay fees for 4 years. You tout this big insurance coverage of $3 million dollars yet you can't even talk to any one about a claim. Ever. You are never called back, just sent the same canned message over and over again.

I had a guest do approximately $18 thousand dollars to my wooden floor.  The guest denies the damage so Airbnb denied my claim.  Totally a violation of their policy to pay for damages if the guest doesn't.

Please let me know how I can get this issue resolved.

So sorry this happened to you and your home. How frustrating! This is an opportunity to get your claim handled by your business insurance agent. They will send a claims adjustment person out to inspect the damage and work with you on a settlement. They should already be familiar with the original condition of the floors from when you set up the coverage policy. Please don't do any refinishing until they have had a chance to assess the damage. As soon as the adjuster has documented it, they will give you the go ahead.

Do please check back with all of us on how it goes for you.

I received an estimate, sent it in and was denied a second time without any notification by email or phone.

How can I talk to an acutal person?

Is there an arbitration procedure?  How do I initiate it?  Do I need to get an attorney?
