Guest Number Removed from Booking

Removing the guest number from a booking was not necessary. Their number is needed. For example, I need the number of the guest so put the number in my emergency contacts so if they call or text in the middle of the night my phone will ring. Also the guests sometimes don’t respond to in app messages because they don’t have notifications setup and I want to text them to be in contact with them not call them. I get privacy factors but these people are staying in my house the least I can have is their phone number. I don’t agree their numbers are removed.

Could you check if you’re seeing the number as unavailable on the booking confirmation screen? Or, if possible, could you share a screenshot? That way we can double-check whether the issue from September has come back or if it’s just phone masking.

Hello @Elisa the number doesn’t appear anywhere on the reservation page. I learned on my own that you have to dive deeper and hit the call tab to actually see the number. The question now is when and if the guest calls or text me from that number will it appear on my caller ID so I know it’s them and so that if that number is put into my emergency contact I will hear their call?

We only had this happen on one reservation on 9/17/25 - The "Call" box was greyed out. After a day or two, the phone number appeared as normal on the initial reservation details.

Reservations after that one event, the phone number appeared as it always has on the reservation details.

My last 2 bookings are suddenly Not showing the Guest contact number and I am Not happy that this has suddenly changed!!!  WHY??  You are correct Michael that we should absolutely be given their contact number while staying on our home, should we have a reason that they need to be reached!!  

I noticed that my guests seldom look at my reminder messages in the App because they don't want to be bothered with it while on vacation or working locally, etc!!  I would prefer to text their cell number if I need to tell them anything.  This makes me Very nervous Not having any way to contact them except through the App, whether by message or pushing the app Call button. 

Give me the guest phone number upon booking!!!  I am ready to call the Host line  about this and ask what it is they are up to by keeping this info from me??!!  I am Very disappointed and growing more  concerned as I see it hidden on my next guest coming in, as well.  🤨👎🏼
