Guest cancellation due to circumstances out of my control due to noise of building next doir

Hi 

I’ve just had my guest ask to move out to another property as my property is next door to a refurbishment that I was not aware of . I’ve agreed to him cancelling through Airbnb but I’ve now lost 2 weeks rental , can I claim this on insurance through Airbnb or is it private insurance I’d need to try to reclaim.

I don't know any STR insurance that would cover third party issues but check under your business disruption clause on STR insurance and see @Alexa6015 

It's a shame your neighbours didn't let you know ..

I highly doubt the Guarantee will cover but check the T&C for the airbnb guarantee

@Alexa6015 Airbnb do not offer insurance so I very much doubt it will pay out.
