I'm less than two weeks hosting. A guest booked for one night. He checked into a wrong and occupied room. I relocated him to the right room which was very clean. Yet he gave me a poor review based on the the occupied room
Sorry to hear that . How was a guest able to check into the wrong room? Do you not have locks on bedroom doors? @Gp2
as a homeshare hosts I try wherever possible to be there to help guests check in.
Hi @Gp2,
I'm sorry to hear there were some issues during this recent booking!
Could you tell us a bit more about what happened? As you can see from Helen's reply, it would be very useful to get more context so that other hosts can give you more advice. 🙂
Thanks,
Emilie

Guest checked into the wrong room that was occupied by someone and not listed. When I discovered that less than 30 minutes later, I relocated the guest to the room he booked. Everything was clean in the room. Yet guest gave a review based on the wrong room he initially checked into by mistake, by himself
@Gp2 If that's the case, then there is a chance you can get the review removed on account of it being not relevant. Would kind of be hard to prove it unless the guest mentioned it in the review itself.
