Guest destroyed my property (over $20k damages) and left a vindictive review b/c of the claim, but I am unable to get review removed.

I had a guest that completely ruined my property and I am no longer able to book the place out for the next 2 months.
I filed a claim for over $20k.

Immediately after I filed the claim, I received his review specifically saying that "Everything was lovely until he accused me of damaging his floor due to his toilet overflowing! He even mentioned that it had happened once before but now attempting to get twenty thousand dollars out of me."

I requested for the review to be removed, stating that the review is vindictive since it came after the claim and is specifically about the claim, but was told that the review didnt break the review policy.

I dont understand how this review is not vindictive since it came AFTER the claim itself and is specifically about this claim.

What do you do in this situation?

Unbelievable misery caused by a guest. I am so sorry! I have had several bad reviews from guest not following rules, not reporting a problem on time or at all and Airbnb allowed the guests vindictive review to be posted and then I was suspended. Since those events I have changed my rules and communications with my guests to painstakingly detailed rules and I ask them to respond back before they check in that they agree to all of them. Also, I need to take videos of the suite before renting to any guest so that I can show before and after to Airbnb. I don't know if it will help but it seems to me that Airbnb lets bad guests get away with violations unless the host can prove it which can be impossible sometimes. It is really important to interview guests before they book which is why I no longer have instant booking. It only take one dishonest guest with a lack of basic intelligence to ruin a listing. Extremely young people can be capable of causing damage and they are the ones to really look out for!

Best wishes, so sorry about what happened, I have been there.
