I have a challenge with a review left by a guest. The review states as follows “
Pros

Very responsive and nice host
Cons
The compound is rundown and shouldve been included in the pictures so that i could make a decision
Weird smell”
Now my challenge with the review is the misleading claim by the guest that the compound is run down as it implies
"Run down" as a compound means something is in poor condition, worn out, or dilapidated, often used to describe a building, area, or even a person who is tired and exhausted; essentially, something that has deteriorated due to neglect or heavy use.
Airbnb is aware without a doubt that the compound of my listing does look in anyway as falsely claimed by the guest and I disputed the review on the basis that it was biased and inauthentic which led to it’s initial removal. However shortly after the removal Airbnb reinstated the review and when I contacted them again, they claimed that “

Now my concern is, why is Airbnb insisting on reinstating the review when they are certain the claim that the property is run down is false? Doesn’t that defeat the whole purpose of Airbnb review policy that states “Reviews also may not be used as an attempt to mislead or deceive Airbnb or another person”
Please I need help as this listing has had over 49 reviews in the past with no single claim of the building being run down so I’m confused as to why Airbnb is determined to ruin my listing with this false claim. How can the authenticity of a review not matter? Why should a review still stay when Airbnb knows a claim made there is a lie? Please I need help
