Guests working from home

I am getting frequent requests from guests who want to ‘work from home’ therefore using their accommodation as a cheap office. Current gear using the lounge 9-5 as an office with her lap top. Lounge is available during theses hours but not to sit at a lap top all day working.

I wonder if other hosts are noticing this more.

I wonder how Airbnb are addressing this in relation to higher bill costs? Could there be an extra charge for guests who want to use their accommodation as an office?

You’re advertising a dedicated workspace. If that’s not what you want then you should remove that as an amenity.

Thanks however there is a difference between offering basic, bed for a few nights facilities and a Mon - Fri 9-5 office in the lounge which I aren't offering.

Airbnb have answered my question about being able to charge extra and my other question was whether hosts are noticing this more?

I didn't say that wasn't what I wanted.
