Hello

 

 

 

We manage several listings and Hamilton and would like to share about guests we've had that we'd like to warn other hosts about so they don't get their property damaged.

I'm really sorry that you had a negative guest experience, though I did have to remove the names you posted, as that's against our Community Center Guidelines.

 

Have you contacted Airbnb about what happened and let them know what went wrong?  Have you tried to contact the guests to get reimbursed for any damage?

 

I agree with @Helen3 that the best way to warn fellow Hosts is to leave an honest review.

If you are looking for a cohost I would always go for a co-host who is a superhost with great reviews.

 

Have you tried posting in the Toronto host group and asking for recommendations.

 

Reading reviews from guests on a hosts profile will give you a good idea of their hosting style particularly look at ratings for cleanliness, communications and accuracy.

 

Airbnb considers any hosts with less than a 4.6 ratings  to be more poorly performing hosts and do suspend their listings if ratings don't improve.
