I am staying in a studio apartment in the Gap Barbados.  First day I electrocuted myself on the hob which was replaced immediately.  I have a shower with an electric cable coming out of the wall above it.   I'm guessing for hot water.  The windows are barred up for break ins but if there was a fire I wouldn't be able to get out.....Only one point of exit.  If there was a fire during the night I don't think I would get out!  I want to move.   I have another 11 days here.  I booked for 3 weeks but just fearing for my safety now.  Are AirBnb good at refunding as I now have to find another place to stay and pay for.

@Christine4502 if it is a studio apartment then 1 exit is fine

Hi @Christine4502 

If you review this listing, perhaps consider adding a positive note about how quickly the host replaced the hob. This is something most of us would have a hard time doing at short notice.

Also keep in mind that the burglar bars were intended to keep you safe - not having them may also not be good.
