Hello everyone

Hello everyone

My name is Cyndi! I recently became a host in Murfreesboro arkansas! I started the middle of June on this Journey, its been a learning experience! I absolutely love it! So far I have done well with bookings, but any advice is appreciated! We have a 3 bedroom 2bath house. Lots of compliments on our cleanliness in which I have decided to expand and help clean others.

I always suggest show me a pictured of why your house would fit my needs, I suggest your living room is a better cover photo.

Your dining is beautiful but only seats 4 an you advertise for 8.  True usually when your on vacation your not having a big sit down meal for 8.  I suggest though on Amazon wse would purchase nice wood Tv tables so people didn't have to balance on the couch lol.

Check your amenities it says no essential

If the bunk bed has a trundle bed take a picture so people can see

Thank you for your suggestions! Its a work in progress so any help is greatly appreciated!

@Cynthia1395  I have a number of suggestions:

First of all, you need better and more pictures. Your pictures are extremely dark, and don't show your home well. Even if you feel you can't afford professional pics, you should turn on lights and take pictures in full daylight in landscape mode. Show some of the outdoor space if it's part of your listing. Do you have a grill and a patio or porch? Include that.

Second, use the captions feature with the pictures. It helps explain to guests what they are looking at and the flow of the house. You can label the different bedrooms, baths, etc., and add details that aren't included elsewhere. Example: Master bedroom with en suite bath. All cotton bedding and room darkening shades.

Third, you haven't used the "About this Space" area at all. You need to write a description about what your home offers, and what guests should expect. You can emphasize any house rules you want to bring to their attention (house rules are buried in another section that guests don't often see), and give them a sense of you as hosts. You can also mention how far you are from local attractions, restaurants, etc. You should also be clear about pets: how many you accept, and if there's a pet fee, as well as any additional rules for guests with pets.

Fourth, the decor looks very barebones, sort of like a college dorm. Some area rugs and art on the walls would go a long way. You also need to have furniture that matches the capacity of the home. Look at the home and picture it with 8 guests. Your dining table isn't suitable, and your living room only has the one couch. I don't recommend "TV tables." Um.....yuck. Not practical or classy.

Your house rules say checkout is at 10, but you've written 11.

You can look at some other popular and established listings around you and try to mimic what they have done. I'm sure you'll find your groove with hosting. It would serve you well to make your listing more appealing. Good luck.
