I concur with Andrea7429 comments also

also an issue after being on the platform for over 14 years my rating of 4.67 never ever changes despite the last 6 or more years, I think more, I have been a super host with five out of five stars for every category except for two guests, where they may have given me a four for one of the categories. I don’t understand why my rating NEVER- EVER

 

changes yet somebody who has started in the last year gets five stars so when you are comparing somebody starting in the last year to somebody who’s been on the platform for a long time, it doesn’t look great. 
it disheartens me.

You can go to the Listings tab, click View and scroll to Show all reviews.

Then type all the ratings into a spreadsheet and average them. You'll get to your present star rating, and you can calculate what impact future reviews will have (for example, how many you need to move the score). 

This will assure you that the average is correct, but it's not a great help as you'll still be in the same position as all of us: you can still just do your best and hope it shows in the reviews. If we focus on ratings too much, hosting can be a negative experience.
